Okay look. You girls won’t know it yet, but there’s a tv show called Survivor. They throw a bunch of people on an island and they scheme and plot to vote each other off until there’s just one left. It's for money, not life and death. Thank goodness.

I don’t mean to downplay the situation, but in principle, it’s not that different. They talk about managing their threat level – if they make a big move, they pull back for a little while, follow the herd until the dust settles. It doesn’t mean they don’t defend themselves.
